Such wonderful things have been going on in my life here in Atlanta and I am glad to have a way to share with you and with the world.
As you may know, I am enrolled in a leadership training program called The Well Discipleship Training School. The Well is a non-profit organization with a purpose of reaching at risk youth in the inner city, college students, and families in the suburbs of Atlanta and traveling abroad on mission outreaches. At The Well, I am able to put the ministry training that I’m learning in my classes to use right away. I have helped with community outreaches, the summer teen camp, and have the opportunity to go on regional and international mission trips!
As part of my training at The Well, we will be going on various mission trips throughout the year. As we begin to travel and go different places, there will be expenses that I am responsible for, such as outreach supplies, training materials and traveling. I am saving my money and working to pay for my expenses, but I could use your help.
Fundraising is a great way for many Christians to get involved in missions. Many people may have a heart for the mission field, but have limited ways to participate. Your support can help fund with mission trips, community outreaches, retreats and other traveling expenses. I am excited about the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead and hope you see the value in the work that will be and has been accomplished.
